Meet Grace!
Grace stepped into the Venue Manager role at South Pine in March and has been loving every minute so far.
What’s your role, and what does a typical day look like?
As Venue Manager, no two days are ever the same! The most important part of my role is ensuring our team has the tools and support they need to succeed every day. Also, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where our community can stay active and connected.
How long have you been with Belgravia Leisure?
I’ve been with Belgravia for almost 9 years and have spent the last 3 months at South Pine.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love that every day is different and the strong relationships you build with the community. I’m passionate about health and wellbeing, so I feel very fortunate to have turned that passion into my career.
What’s your favourite thing about working with the team?
Watching how welcoming and supportive the team is to each other. Everyone is happy to share their knowledge and work together, helping each other succeed in their roles.
Fun fact:
Both of my parents served in the Australian Defence Force, so I’ve lived in three different states.
