Our Story

South Pine Indoor Sports Centre opened in Brendale, QLD in 2001 as part of the South Pine Sports Complex (which originally opened in 1996). In 2021 the two-court multisport centre, underwent a major upgrade to introduce the following facilities for the community:

  • 3 x multisports courts with centre-court stadium seating. 
  • 4 x large unisex change rooms that can be converted into 8 smaller change rooms 
  • 2 x unisex accessible change rooms 
  • 4 x changing places 
  • 4 x referee rooms 
  • 5 x meeting/function rooms 
  • 1 x boardroom 
  • 3 x office rooms 
  • 1 x parents room 
  • 1 x first aid room and 
  • a commercial kitchen and cafe open during operating hours. 

Since this upgrade, the South Pine Indoor Sports Centre has welcomed general community through causal sports sessions while being a regular destination for our local community sports organisations and community groups. The Centre has hosted multiple major and local sports events Including; Foot Locker U18 & National Junior Wheelchair Championships, Toyota AFL Open – Wheelchair, NRL Wheelchair State Challenge as well as local community events.
