Our Story

South Pine Indoor Sports Centre opened in 2001 as part of the South Pine Sports Complex opened in 1996 in Brendale. Originally a two-court multisport centre, was upgraded in 2021 to add an additional:

  • 3x Multisports courts with centre-court stadium seating.
  • 4x Large unisex change rooms that can be converted into 8 smaller change rooms.
  • 2x Unisex accessible change rooms
  • 4 Changing places
  • 4 Ref Rooms
  • A commercial kitchen and cafe open during operating hours.
  • 5x Meeting/Function rooms.
  • 1x Boardroom
  • 3x Offices
  • 1x Parents Room
  • 1x First Aid Room

Since this upgrade, the South Pine Indoor Sports Centre has been able to open its doors to the community by offering causal sports sessions. The Centre has also been able to host multiple major and local sports events Including; Foot Locker U18 & National Junior Wheelchair Championships, Toyota AFL Open – Wheelchair, NRL Wheelchair State Challenge as well as local community events.
